DDDigital Tradition is the fusion of old tradition with the here and now. Pixels are dominating or daily life and oblong most textile designs are made on the computer. DDDigital Tradition combines tradition with the modern age and creates a symbiosis.
To amplify this combination of the old and the new I suggest tufting the pixels from glossy man-made fibres and the traditional ornaments from dull wool and silk.

DDDigital Tradition ist die Verschmelzung von Jahrhunderte alter Tradition mit dem hier und jetzt. Pixel dominieren unseren Alltag und schon längst werden die meinsten Textildesigns am Computer entworfen. DDDigital Tradition kombiniert Tradition mit Moderne und schafft eine Symbiose aus beidem.
Um diese Kombination von alt und neu noch zu verstärken empfehle ich die Pixel aus glänzenden Kunstfasern zu knüpfen während die klassischen Muster traditionell in Wolle und Seide gefertigt werden.

Információk Christian Müller

Christian Frank Müller was born in 1984 in Germany. He studied textile design at the University of Applied Sciences Hof followed by a Master program at the University of Art and Industrial Design Linz and the Design Academy Eindhoven. Christian Frank Müller is working in various fields of design and specialized in textile design. He invented the term Textile Futurist for himself and his works are best described by his maxim "simplicity with a twist". In the past years he won several national and international awards.

Christian Frank Müller, geboren 1984 in Deutschland, studierte zunächst Textildesign an der Hochschule Hof gefolgt von einem Masterstudium an der Kunstuniversität Linz und der Design Academy Eindhoven. Christian Frank Müller arbeitet in den unterschiedlichsten Designbereichen und ist spezialisiert auf Textilien. Er bezeichnet sich selbst als Textile Futurist und seine Arbeiten sind bestens beschrieben mit seinem Leitspruch "simplicity with a twist".
