In this case the ‘Norwegian orange kilim’ is the handwoven end result of the cultural cross-fertilization between the typical Norwegian tradition of the ice crystal motif and the typical Oriental Kelim tradition of colorful geometric patterns. Because the ‘Norwegian orange kilim’ is both 'modern’ and ‘traditional', it is an extraordinary and unique carpet, that belongs in every distinctive interior.

Deze ‘Noorse oranje kelim’ behoort toe aan een kleurrijke reeks van fusion-concepten, waarbij diverse uiteenlopende typische (eeuwenoude cultureel gebonden) thema’s, geometrische patroonvormen, motieven, kleuren en gebruikte weef- en productietechnieken met elkaar zijn gecombineerd, gemengd of (letterlijk) verweven tot een nieuw en krachtig hedendaags intercultureel motief. In dit geval is de ‘Noorse oranje Kelim’ het handgeweven eindresultaat van de culturele kruisbestuiving tussen de typische Noorse traditie van het ijskristal-motief en de typische oosterse Kelim traditie van kleurrijke geometrische patronen.
